An idea for a villain in the Spider-Man rp with my friend. I took one of my old OCs made for Kingdom Hearts and made a Marvel/Spider-Man AU of her.
Backstory:
Toxicum (real name, Tessa Tefft) was a former lab assistant to Dr. Kurt Connors at Oscorp. Fascinated with his theories of gene splicing, she could have been a promising scientist. But, her private experiments were too risky and dangerous, so she was fired. However, this didn't stop her from practicing her twisted experiments. When she heard about the Venom Symbiote, she hired two bounty hunters to go out and bring back a sample of the symbiote. With her knowledge, and using Dr. Connors notes that she stole, she was able to create artificial symbiotes using samples of DNA from other animals. Unlike the Venom Symbiote that duplicated the powers of Spider-Man, these artificial symbiotes could give their hosts incredible powers of whatever animal DNA they were infused with. Tessa had made a special one for her by adding scorpion DNA into the mix. When she injected the scorpion symbiote into her bloodstream, she began to transform into Venomized version of the Scorpion, and called herself Toxicum!
She now has increased speed and strength, able to heal fast, enhanced reflexes, all the same goo-like powers of Venom, and a powerful scorpion tail. She even has her own special poison that she can excrete from her claws, tail, and fangs. Its very potent, and can sometimes have mutagenic properties. So don't get scratched by her.
